  • Are Dino Cars pedal go-karts safe?

Yes – Dino-Cars are developed and produced in Germany and rely on sturdy steel frames, pneumatic tires, and tested technology. Many models also have CE marking and certified safety.

Dino-Cars come standard with pneumatic tires, which provide good grip and comfort on asphalt, grass or level terrain.

  • What should the tire pressure be?

Tire pressure – How to correctly inflate the tires of your DINO CARS

To ensure your DINO CARS go-kart runs safely, smoothly, and has a long lifespan, the correct tire pressure is crucial. Please note the following instructions:

    Recommended air pressure

  • 1.8 to 2.0 bar (equivalent to 26–29 PSI)

  • This area is ideal for most DINO CARS models.

This ensures that the vehicles roll smoothly, the tires wear evenly, and the driving comfort remains optimal.

    Special notes regarding ambient temperature

  • Sunlight & heat

  • In strong sunlight or high outside temperatures, the tires heat up and expand.

The air pressure can rise noticeably.

    Recommendation:

Reduce the air pressure by approximately 0.2 bar (about 3 PSI) during prolonged exposure to sunlight to avoid over-expansion and potential pressure loss.

  • Cold & storage in winter

  • At low temperatures, the air pressure in the tires decreases.

Check the pressure regularly – especially if the vehicle has not been used for a longer period of time.

How to check tire pressure correctly

    1. Use a suitable air pump with a manometer (pressure gauge).

    2. Check the pressure at least once a month or before every long journey.

    3. Make sure that all four tires are inflated evenly.

    Maintenance note

    Too low air pressure can:

  • make pedaling more difficult,
  • lead to increased tire wear,
  • impair driving safety.

  • Excessive air pressure can:

  • reduce driving comfort,
  • increase the risk of a tire bursting when heated.
  • How can I repair flat tires?
